Folk Dance and Music Festival (Χ.Ο.Φ.Ε.Θ.)
This programme is implemented according to the decision of the General Secretary of Central Macedonia Region, with ref. no. 7894/8-11-2010, it is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (NSRF/ERDF) and its total budget is €129,949.50
The 8-day Folk Dance and Music Festival is held annually at the cinema-theatre of the 1st Student Hall of Residence of Thessaloniki. Each day is devoted to a geographic region of Greece, from which 2-3 dance and music groups are invited to perform dances and customs of their region.
The programme covers the years 2011-2015 and has been successfully implemented for 2011 and 2012.
