Internship for Graduate Students of Vocational Training Institutes - Ι.Ε.Κ.

The Project aims at implementing 6-month (optional) internship programmes in companies and institutions (of the Public sector, Legal Entities of Public Law - Ν.Π.Δ.Δ., Legal Entities of Private Law - Ν.Π.Ι.Δ. and private companies), through the subsidy programme granted to the graduates of public & private Institutes of Vocational Training.

The Aim of the Act is:

• To upgrade the vocational education and training

• To ensure the smooth transition of the trainees from the preparation area, to the production area of the companies and the organisations

According to the O.G.G. A 237/05.12.2012, the internship subsidy amounts to €800, for every student who began his/her internship from 1st October 2008 and completed it by 31st December 2015. The Act intends to pay allowance for students who started their internship between 1st October 2008 and 30th June 2013.

The project forms part of the Operational Programme “Education and Lifelong Learning” of the Ministry of Education,Research and Religious Affairs and it is co-funded by the European Union (European Social Fund - E.S.F.) and National Funding.
